Mach 3 Turbo Loss Solved! 13/03/07 |
|
Only one shave to shout home about. It wasn't such a good idea to attempt a dry shave, and let my bloodied and spotty face be a lesson to you all. That was a few days ago now though. I will need another tomorrow i'm sure. However, in more important news, the mystery of the missing Mach 3 has been solved! Sort of. It turns out the day it went missing, a certain band from the South Of England were staying at our house. The only logical conclusion is that aside from sullying my ears during their fleeting visit, they also half inched my razor. I can't recall if they were particularly hairy, i only hope it went to a good home. I do not want to recompence for this, so i will refrain from naming the band. They know who they are. |

Facial Hair Update: 06/03/07 |
|
I have quite a healthy amount of stubble at the moment. It's quite interesting though i'm afraid i may have to remove it very soon. I'm still shaving with the Wilkinson Sword Quattro, and to all intents and purposes it does suffice. I suppose i just miss my Mach 3 Turbo. Also, i suspect my girlfriend has been using it to shave her legs, which as all good men will know, is not ideal. Not one bit. |

An interesting shave today. Three days without gave me a bit of stubble that was removed interestingly in the shower. The technique worked quite well. |

Facial Hair Update: 02/03/07 - 9pm |
|
It's been two days without a shave now. The facial hair is visible but not to the point were it either looks scruffy or beard like. However the stubble is quite sharp and will probably need removing tomorrow morning; lest my girlfriend complain. |

I should make it clear here, that i do not grow a full beard. It's some sort of family trait, we just can't do it. My father couldn't, my grandfather couldn't, i bet his grandfather couldn't either. Because of this, I have to shave almost everyday.
Today, i picked up my razor, which as you will know from the previous post is a Wilkinson Sword quattro, only to find it covered in hairs i didn't wash off. Textbook error, i soon recitified this.
The application of shaving gel (i prefer gel as it foams on the face rather than in the hand) was simple enough, and the shave was reltively easy. No need for after shave balm. I would estimate todays shave took around 5 minutes, from applying the gel to washing it off. It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience, and there was no foam left on my earlobes which makes a nice change.
It is now 10pm, about 12 hours after my shave and there is already stubble growing bac. This is disappointing, as i clearly did not shave as closely as i would have liked.
I feel mislead by that 4 bladed promise of a close shave.
I miss my mach 3 turbo. I would hazard a guess that one of my housemates has eloped with it. |
